When you use a drivers through HDS, all of these services are provided in your basic rates:
- Recruiting -- We advertise for the specific type of drivers you need, and then process and screen all the applicants for you. Let our years of experience in recruiting work for you.
- Qualification -- Drivers are fully qualified in accordance with DOT rules and regulations. We provide you with a complete qualification file that complies with DOT regulations.
- Drug and alcohol testing -- all of the drivers we send you will be tested according to DOT specifications, including pre-hire, random, and post-accident testing. We can provide you with test results, so you don't have to spend time or money re-testing them.
- Workers Compensation insurance
- Payroll administration -- We calculate, process, and distribute wages, payroll deductions, and garnishments. We calculate and pay all state and federal withholding, F.I.C.A., F.U.T.A., and S.U.T.A., and we prepare and file all the payroll tax reports and year-end W-2 forms.
- Unemployment compensation
- Benefits administration -- We can provide full benefits to your drivers if you choose, sometimes at no additional cost to you. We also handle insurance applications and claims.
