HDS Truck Driving Institute is a private, post secondary educational institution serving men and women of all ages. Our mission is to offer students the opportunity to develop both the technical knowledge and personal skills vital to employment in the ever-changing world of truck driving.

We offer DAY, EVENING and WEEKEND CLASSES starting throughout the year.

Do You Qualify?

• Must be Twenty-one years of age by the time the program is completed for an interstate license and eighteen years of age by the time the program is completed for an intrastate license.
• Must have an active Arizona driver license and proof of one (1) consecutive year of driving experience with a standard operator's license (automobile) issued by state or country.
• Must meet Department of Transportation physical requirementsunder Section 391.41, Sub part E of Drivers Commercial Qualifications.
• Must pass a drug screen
• Must be able to read and speak English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
• All qualifications must be met as set forth by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
